A CHINESE SPY BASE IN CUBA: A MOVE AGAINST THE US

LAS INTERVENCIONES MILITARES DE CUBA DESDE 1959
Las intervenciones militares de Cuba durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX fueron un reflejo de su compromiso ideológico con el marxismo-leninismo y su deseo de expandir la revolución socialista más allá de sus fronteras. Impulsadas por la visión internacionalista de Fidel Castro y apoyadas por la Unión Soviética, estas incursiones buscaron influir en movimientos de liberación nacional y conflictos revolucionarios alrededor del mundo.
Intervención en África
La intervención más significativa de Cuba tuvo lugar en África, particularmente en Angola. En 1975, tras la independencia de Angola de Portugal, el país se sumergió en una guerra civil entre el Movimiento Popular para la Liberación de Angola (MPLA), apoyado por Cuba y la Unión Soviética, y sus rivales, la Unión Nacional para la Independencia Total de Angola (UNITA) y el Frente Nacional de Liberación de Angola (FNLA), apoyados por Estados Unidos y Sudáfrica.
